Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase).
- Setting data: the answers you give in the survey about your childminding business (contact details, fees, hours, policies). This is about you and your business.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we store only your Stripe customer reference and subscription status.
- Email signups: if you subscribe to updates on our site or blog, we store your email address and where you signed up.
2. What we deliberately do not collect
We do not collect or store personal data about the children or families you care for. The child enrolment form is intentionally rendered blank for families to complete on paper, and anything typed into the on-screen version is never sent to or stored on our servers. Records about children stay with you and the family, under your own data handling arrangements.
3. How we use your data
- To generate your documents from your answers
- To operate your account, subscription, and share links
- To send you service emails (confirmation, password reset) and, if you opted in, product updates
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties beyond the processors listed below.
4. Processors we rely on
- Supabase: authentication and database hosting
- Stripe: payment processing
- Vercel: application hosting
5. Share links
Your documents are accessible to anyone who has your share link. The link contains a long random token and is not listed publicly, but treat it like a private URL: only give it to families you intend to share it with, and contact us if you need it rotated.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your account and setting data while your account exists. Contact us to delete your account and we will remove your data, subject to any records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email us.
